Job Description A Graduate Assistant in the Mission and Ministry Department at Alvernia University provides administrative and programmatic support, fosters core the Franciscan values of service, peace, collegiality, humility, and contemplation on the campus.
Key Responsibilities:
Program Support:
Assist in organizing and facilitating Campus Ministry events, pilgrimages, spiritual programming, including ministry of presence to support students in their Faith journey.
Administrative Support:
Handle project management, document preparation, scheduling, organization, and update social media.
Service:
Assist with volunteer opportunities; coordinate with Holleran Center service projects.
Mission Integration:
Generate ideas to promote Catholic Identity on Alvernia's Campuses; model Franciscan values; lead reflection sessions.
Qualifications:
Active, Enthusiastic Faith Life.
Academic Life:
Full-time enrollment in a graduate program, maintaining at least a 3.2 GPA.
Skills:
Strong communication skills (verbal and written); organizational skills; ability to utilize and manipulate Microsoft Office, other content creation tools (Canva, etc.), and all Alvernia media tools.

Time:
At least one semester Full-time (20 hours/week), or Part-time (10 hours/week) Tuition Waiver
