This is a part-time position (30 hrs/week) expected to last approximately 3-6 months. About Us Darwin Research Group is a research and consulting firm that focuses on health care delivery models. We specialize in conducting comprehensive analyses of health systems, physician groups, and emerging payer models such as accountable care organizations and bundled payments. Our goal is to help our clients better understand the health care ecosystem and succeed in the ever-changing landscape. Our clients include pharmaceutical companies and medical device manufacturers. About the Position In this role, you'll conduct primary and secondary research to help clients better understand healthcare markets, trends, and opportunities. You'll analyze and report on your findings, contribute recommendations, collaborate with the research team, and assist on special projects while building expertise in areas such as oncology, immunology, and rheumatology. The ideal candidate is self-motivated, thrives in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment, can quickly learn, and works independently with minimal supervision. Position Length:

Schedule:
Monday-Friday, approximately 30 hours per week What Will I Be Doing? Conducting secondary research to assist in decision-making and identifying market trends Conducting primary qualitative research, including data collection, analysis, and reporting Meeting quarterly deadlines as part of a dynamic team Assisting with special projects in collaboration with other research team members Acting as a liaison and point of contact between the Darwin research and sales teams Providing mentorship to Research Associates Obtaining expertise, from a business perspective, in medical specialties such as oncology, immunology, and rheumatology Other duties as assigned What Qualifications and Experience Will I Need? Bachelor's degree (B.A. or B.S.) from a four-year college or university; Bachelor's degree in a social science (e.g. communication, psychology, sociology, anthropology), health care delivery, health care administration, or the sciences preferred 3-5 years of experience in market research, user experience research, behavioral science research or health services research Interest in or 1+ years of experience in the health care industry Prior experience with qualitative research methods, including selecting methods, collecting data, data analysis, and reporting. Familiarity with a variety of research approaches and outputs, such as interviews, journey mapping, and focus groups. Working knowledge of medical terminology; ability to understand complex health care terminology Experience with survey research is a plus What Skills Will I Need?
