A Research Associate typically has more experience than a Research Assistant. Responsibilities can include the planning and design of research projects, conducting experiments, analyzing data, contributing to research publications or grant proposals, and collaborating with other researchers. Works in a variety of fields within science or the social sciences, in programs based at a university or research institution, or works on government or industry sponsored research projects. Conducts field or library research or recruits participants for a study; may also assist with legal research. These roles are often held by people with advanced degrees in their field of study with several years of experience in research or academia.
Interview and document respondents' opinions and/or answers to market research surveys by performing the following duties. Remote opportunity after successful completion of probationary period and performance review. Must be located in Dona Ana County.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
( Other duties may be assigned). Remain professional and polite at all times. Call prospective participants in designated market areas to administer market research interviews to qualified respondents. Enter names, addresses, opinions, answers and reactions of respondents using a software program, clarify vague or unclear responses, probe to obtain complete and clear answers. Enter respondents' replies to open ended questions verbatim. Follow instructions of Supervisory staff. Maintain company acceptable productivity and survey quality levels.

EDUCATION
High school graduate preferred.
LANGUAGE SKILLS
Ability to read English aloud with exceptional confidence and to accurately collect opinions provided by respondents. Bilingual Research Associates must also read Spanish aloud at an exceptional level. A certification exercise will be conducted.
COMPUTER SKILLS
Ability to type 25 words per minute.
