Description Imaging of Brain Health Lab | Auburn University | Part time (0.5 FTE) The Imaging of Brain Health (IBH) Lab at Auburn University is seeking a Research Associate to support neuroimaging research on brain health across the lifespan. This role is suited to someone interested in large imaging datasets, reproducible analysis, and high-performance computing. Responsibilities Organize and maintain neuroimaging datasets, including HCP-D and ABCD. Help configure and use the UK Biobank Research Analysis Platform (UKB-RAP). Develop and run neuroimaging workflows on HPC systems. Document reproducible pipelines and assist with IRB and data use agreement materials. This is a one-year, part-time appointment (0.5 FTE) through Auburn University Temporary Employment Services, with possible renewal based on performance and funding. Remote work may be possible, subject to university approval. Requirements Required qualifications Master's degree in engineering, computer science, informatics, data science, or a related field. Proficiency in Python and Bash, with experience working in a Linux environment. Basic understanding of neuroimaging data structures and standards, such as BIDS. Ability to develop and maintain clear documentation for computational workflows and pipelines. Preferred qualifications Experience with HPC systems and job schedulers. Experience with MATLAB, neuroimaging software such as FSL, FreeSurfer, or HCP Workbench, and statistical tools such as R.
