- Work hours:
- Full Time Days (Monday - Friday, 8:00am-5:00pm) for 40 hrs/week.

- Education
- Bachelor's Degree Informatics, Information sciences, Computer science, Healthcare, Business Administration, Data Science, or relevant field with computational backgrounds 4 Years Relevant work experience in lieu of a degree. (Preferred)
- Experience
- 2 Years Relevant work experience to include some combination of the following:
- Application of scientific methods and data science principles to quantitative, qualitative, and/or mixed methods research studies AND/OR
- Complex reporting environments for clinical applications including but not limited to electronic health record data storage and retrieval methodologies AND/OR
- Data retrieval and analysis applications such as SPSS Modeler, SPSS Statistics, Alteryx, Tableau, R, Python, Business Objects Enterprise XI (Crystal Reports, Web Intelligence, Business Universes, Xcelsius) or Epic Reporting applications (Reporting Workbench, MyEpic/Radar, KB SQL, Chronicles) AND/OR
- Experience with Relational Databases and Structured Query language (SQL) including MS SQL Server (2005 and higher) DB2 and Oracle (10g or higher) AND/OR
- Experience translating user requirements into detailed technical specifications and participating in reviewing technical specifications and developed solutions (Required)

- What You Will Do
- New Development
- Manage and collaborate on research project needs from start to finish, including research design, data collection, managing REDCap research forms, statistical analysis, interpretation of results, and implications to science and healthcare.
- Participate in the translation of knowledge into clinical application and practice.
- Identify opportunities to develop research studies and process or quality improvement projects applicable to THR on an ongoing basis.
- Contribute to manuscript development and relevant presentation (internal and external) of research methodologies and study findings.
- Extract, clean, and prepare data from clinical databases and data warehouse for utilization in research studies.
- Conduct exploratory data analyses for pre-research and organizational initiatives and presents findings as needed to relevant stakeholders.
- Develop and present clear and concise data visualizations and explanations depending on the audience.
- Design, build and deploy actionable reporting solutions while following established standards.
- Develop and implement sustainable strategies for data extraction, cleansing, processing, and delivery. Support & Maintenance
- Collaborate closely with internal and external research partners and associates.
- Act as co-investigator for research studies approved by internal and external Institutional Review Boards.
- Conducts quality and accuracy checks on data extraction and data engineering methodologies while maintaining data integrity and accuracy.
- Knows and applies scientific methods and data science principles to quantitative, qualitative, and mixed-methods research studies.
- Follows all regulatory and organizational procedures for ensuring the privacy and confidentiality of patients, employees, and contractors.
- Identify, develop, and document detailed reporting requirements, specifications, and data definitions. Process
- Participate in reviews required during the software development lifecycle.
- Follow agreed service management guidelines.
- Follow agreed PMO processes and meet project milestones according to prescribed guidelines.
- Ensure performance evaluations are completed within appropriate time period. Knowledge
- Continue development of technical skills through training, mentoring, and collaboration.
- Mentor others to enhance skills, process, and performance.
- Support knowledge management by maintaining all required documentation within the development and support environments.
