Work Schedule:

2-3 days per week 10 - 15 hours per week

Key Components:

In a student employee capacity, may perform or assist with similar functions of an administrative associate or office manager.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

Must be a Junior or Senior Undergrad Student within the Sciences Departments of Chemistry / Biochemistry or similar BSB Department. Maintain Office and Assist Research Faculty As needed. Assist with Faculty and pre-award grant activities including proposal preparation and submission deadlines. Coordinate with post-award grant administration regarding expenditures and sponsor compliance. Maintain Grant Files Work with Financial Manager & Administrators to coordinate purchasing requests for laboratory supplies, equipment, and services. Submit expense report receipts on behalf of Dr. Romo & Dr. Korendovych. Make travel arrangements related to research activities. Assist with onboarding research personnel as needed. Liaise with department staff as needed. Manage calendars and schedule meetings for Dr. Romo & Dr. Korendovych. Assist with room scheduling for research group meetings. Any other duties as assigned.
