Experience 0 - 1 year Save Job LinkedIn Copy URL Email Facebook This position regularly travels to remote locations within Grand County Utah, including the Book Cliffs, the Green and Colorado Rivers, La Sal mountains, and everything in between. This position offers a wide variety of experiences and skill development, with opportunities for training and relevant certifications. Competency in chainsaw use, plant identification, herbicide application, hand tool use, hiking, and camping is preferred, although on-the-job training will be provided. Daily tasks often require lots of lifting, bending, stooping, digging, and walking. There are times where multi-day backcountry camping is necessary. This position focuses on treating, containing, and eradicating invasive plant species in Grand County, Utah, within the greater goal of ecosystem health and sustainability.
