The reporting location for this position is Office of Historic Preservation in Sacramento, CA. This position will work under the general direction of the Deputy State Historic Preservation Officer (CEA). Under the general direction of the State Historic Preservation Officer and Deputy State Historic Preservation Officer, the incumbent supervises and coordinates, on a statewide level, the activities of the Architectural Review, Registration, and Environmental Compliance Unit of the California Office of Historic Preservation. This is a challenging job that requires excellent writing and organizational skills, as well as the ability to analyze date and effectively present ideas orally and in writing, and to work both independently and cooperatively with others, including outside parties the individual staff this position supervises and fellow members of the office's management team. Training and Development Assignments may be considered. This position is designated as telework eligible-office centered. State housing is not available.
