Job Description

Position Summary The Digital Behavioral Threat Assessment Professional is responsible for conducting open-source intelligence investigations and identifying online behaviors, communications, and indicators that may present safety concerns to the client. Analysts evaluate information from social media and other publicly available online sources, prepare professional reports, and communicate time-sensitive findings to clients to support violence prevention and threat assessment efforts.   • Ability to confidently present investigative findings, trends, and lessons learned to internal teams, clients, and professional audiences Essential Duties and Responsibilities
  • Keep up to date with the latest trends on social media while maintaining a high level of proficiency in current social media platforms (Instagram, TikTok, Snapchat, Facebook, etc.)
  • Ability to extract accurate information from social media platforms and prove its relevancy
  • Monitor social media sites to identify subjects, current events, and emerging trends
  • Communicate professionally with clients by telephone and email to provide timely updates, discuss concerning findings, answer investigative questions, and support ongoing threat assessment efforts
  • Work on-call shifts where clients receive responses within 30 minutes of their request
  • Present content to both internal teams and/or larger audiences for the purposes of training
  • Ability to travel as work requires
  • Perform other duties as required
  • Willing to undergo a criminal record check Education, Training, and Experience
  • Experience with law enforcement and/or government agencies preferred
  • Post-secondary diploma/degree, plus 2 to 3 years of research/analytical/OSINT experience, OR an equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Proven communications skills with a demonstrated ability to research, analyze, plan and execute effectively and with impact
  • Vast knowledge of social media platforms and applications such as Microsoft Office Suite
  • Knowledge of behavioral threat assessment
  • Strong writing background and some experience with internal communications preferred
  • An openness to public speaking engagements Physical Demands
  • The physical demands of typical office positions are expected
  • The ability to sit and perform terminal/computer work for lengthy periods is expected

Pay:
$28.00 - $35.00 per hour
