Full Time Position Overview Gregory Construction is seeking an experienced BIM Technician to support our underground utility and civil construction projects. The BIM Technician is responsible for developing, maintaining, and coordinating accurate 3D models that support both project teams and field operations. This position will serve as a key point of contact for BIM deliverables, clash detection, model coordination, and model based field support. The ideal candidate has strong hands on experience with Revit and Navisworks and understands how accurate models translate into successful construction in the field. This person will work closely with Project Managers, Superintendents, Survey, clients, engineers, subcontractors, and general contractors throughout the coordination process. Responsibilities Develop, maintain, and coordinate accurate 3D BIM models for underground dry and wet utility projects using Revit and Navisworks. Participate in BIM coordination meetings and clash detection sessions with clients, engineers, subcontractors, and general contractors. Perform clash detection reviews using Navisworks, document conflicts, and coordinate resolution with project stakeholders. Produce accurate and timely model deliverables based on project schedules and client requirements. Translate model information into field ready data, including layout points, elevations, and utility routing information. Provide detailed information from models to support project management, quantity takeoffs, and as built documentation. Coordinate with Project Managers, Superintendents, and the Survey team to ensure models accurately reflect current project and field conditions. Maintain organized project files and model data within Autodesk Construction Cloud and Autodesk Forma. Assist with the continued development of Gregory Construction's BIM standards, workflows, and best practices. Ensure models and deliverables meet project and client expectations for quality, accuracy, and timeliness. Required Qualifications High school diploma or GED. Minimum of 3 years of hands on Autodesk Revit experience with demonstrated proficiency in infrastructure or MEP modeling. Proficiency with Navisworks Manage for clash detection and model coordination. Experience with Autodesk Construction Cloud and Autodesk Forma for model management and project collaboration. Experience with underground dry utility projects. Strong computer proficiency across the Autodesk platform and Microsoft 365. Strong organizational skills and attention to detail. Ability to manage multiple projects, priorities, and deadlines. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Ability to work independently with minimal direct supervision while also collaborating effectively with project teams. Willingness and ability to travel to project sites and client offices as needed. Preferred Qualifications Associate's degree or higher in a related field. Experience with underground wet utility projects. Familiarity with AutoCAD Civil 3D or related civil design software. Autodesk Certified Professional certification in Revit or equivalent. Previous experience working in a civil construction environment.
