Plan, conduct, transcribe, edit, and make available oral history interviews. Develop content for the Missouri Historical Review, Missouri Encyclopedia, Historic Missourians, the Missouri Times magazine, exhibits, and other outlets. Assist with media requests for interviews. Conduct classes, tours, presentations, and workshops on the history and culture of Missouri. Present workshops to groups interested in the practice of conducting oral history interviews. Transcribe existing oral history collections and manage the conversion to digital format. Other duties as assigned. Shift Monday-Friday 8:00am - 5:00 pm Minimum Qualifications Bachelor's degree and at least 2 years of experience from which comparable knowledge and skills can be acquired is necessary. Preferred Qualifications A Doctorate degree and relevant experience and at least 2 years of experience from which comparable knowledge and skills can be acquired is necessary Knowledgeable of digital humanities and current audio and video technologies Must have a valid driver's license and the ability to travel as needed. Travel will periodically require overnight stays. Excellent visual, writing, and public speaking skills Experience with Microsoft Office including MS Office and Adobe products. Preference will be given to candidates with knowledge of the history of Missouri and the Midwest.
