The Tribal Historic Preservation Intern of the Osage Nation Historic Preservation Office (ONHPO) provides support to the Tribal Historic Preservation Officer/Director and department archaeologists by assisting with cultural resource management projects and performing basic clerical functions for the Department. Qualifications Currently enrolled in a college undergraduate or graduate program or possesses an undergraduate or graduate degree, preferred field of study archaeology, anthropology, or cultural preservation Must be able to stand, stoop, bend and squat as job requires Lifting is minimal but will be a component of the job requirements Requires a high level of personal integrity and ethics Requires a high level of problem solving skills Requires willingness and ability to learn new skills Requires ability to use Microsoft Office Suite programs. Requires ability to use database management system, specifically FileMaker Pro Requires good interpersonal communication and team work skills Must be able to pass a criminal back ground check Must be able to pass drug and alcohol testing Must have a valid driver's license and clean driving record-may be required to drive GSA or tribal vehicles Duties and Responsibilities Works under the direct supervision of the Tribal Historic Preservation Officer/Director Assists with cultural resource management projects such as artifact collection processing Assists with research on Osage cultural history Assists ONHPO team with National Historic Preservation Act Section 106 processing Assists in CRM database management including entering data Assists with catalogues, and files by type, county, and state federally mandated compliance records and correspondence Assists office in cultural resource management Performs other duties assigned by the Tribal Historic Preservation Director Share job details to
