Position Information Requisition Number Stu799P Position Type Student Worker Department Department of Student Workers Job Title Student Researcher - Center for Public Research Classification Student Worker Pay Rate Stipend to be paid at end of work period/semester Position Summary Information Hours per week Flexible Days Worked Flexible Hours/Shift worked Flexible Posting Detail Information Job Summary/Basic Function Participate in and help promote, develop, and coordinate programs and projects under the auspices of the Center for Public Research ( CPR ) [previously the Center for Scholarship and Social Change ( CPSSC )] Assist in providing support to community partners Undertake research projects on issues identified by community partners Plan and publicize the CPR and community education projects Required Qualifications Must be a student in a good academic standing during time of employment Interest in and commitment to community-engaged research Strong teamwork skills Proficiency in communication and writing skills Preferred Qualifications Proficiency in data visualization Proficiency in statistics and research methods (including qualitative methodology) Job Duties Assist in departmental research Support faculty members Working Conditions and Physical Effort Posting Open Date 08/20/2026 Posting Close Date 10/30/2026 Special Instructions to Applicants Resume and class schedule are required to be uploaded which will help us to assist you with determining the best working hours outside of your academic and extra-curricular schedule.
