A Social Scientist carries out and facilitates social science research to better understand human behavior. Involves activities such as analysis of laboratory results, quality control, data management, and presentations of findings. May utilize statistic or other data analysis software such as SPSS, STATA or SAS.

(1.5 hours/week) Qualifications Ability to work with others and communicate effectively, including with respect to presentations and report writing, is essential. Ability to travel for project workshops is required. Prior research and experience with effective community organizing and event planning, particularly with respect to centering equity, nature-based solutions, and climate resilience and preparedness issues is strongly preferred. Prior qualitative and quantitative research experience is strongly preferred, including psychosocial survey development, administration, and analysis; effective data management, and record of publication. Additional qualifications include organizational, project, and time management skills, flexibility, strong intercultural and interpersonal awareness and skills, the capacity to work independently, and the ability to network with local government decision makers, community-based organization members, residents, and other ENACTS researchers.
