•Job Details:
General Notes This is a grant-funded position and reassignment will be based upon performance, progress toward research goals and continuation of funding. Must be authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis for any employer without sponsorship. Some travel within the state of Texas required. Purpose This position will review, abstract, and code clinical and/or educational records for autism and/or developmental disability (DD) surveillance after extensive training. They will participate in data quality checks, project meetings, and education/outreach efforts as needed. Responsibilities Review, abstract, code, and enter clinical and educational data into project databases. Travel to school districts and health care facilities in Bexar County as needed to access records. Participate in ongoing data quality assurance, including but not limited to, self- and peer review of records, inter-rater reliability checks, and periodic training and recalibration to maintain coding accuracy.

compliance training Driving Required This job requires a class "C" operator's driver's license. The applicant selected must provide a current three year driving record from the current state of residence. If not currently a Texas resident, a Texas driver's license must be obtained within 30 days of becoming a Texas resident. Employees who are required to have a CDL are subject to drug and alcohol testing (pre-employment, post-accident, reasonable suspicion, random, return-to-duty, and follow-up drug and alcohol testing). Salary Range $45,000- $50,000
