• Student Assistants Position Summary Temporary hourly-intermittent work study student assistant in Agriculture.

Start Date Position available on or after September 21, 2026 and ending on or before May 21, 2027. Possibility of reappointment based on budget, department needs, and job performance. Job Description/Duties Duties include but are not limited to: Assist in responding to telephone and email inquiries. Assist faculty, staff, and students. Collecting mail, distributing mail, and campus deliveries. Monitor frequently used office supplies for inventory. File, scan, copy, and organize documents. Enter data and update records. Assist students with basic departmental inquiries. Support departmental projects and events. Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications Preferred Qualifications :

Knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word and Excel). Ability to follow instructions and explain to others. Ability to maintain confidentiality. Effective communication skills. Working knowledge of Microsoft Office, search engines, computer applications. It is preferred, but not required, that the incumbent demonstrates prior experience in an office setting.

Required Qualifications :

Undergraduate students must be registered/enrolled in a minimum of six (6) Fall/Spring units. Must have received and accepted Financial Aid award for the current semester/year in which you are applying. Salary Range $16.90 per hour.
