Greenhouse Assistant Duties:

Responsible for the day to day activities that provide the means of producing quality, salable plant production. Responsible for communicating plant information or growing problems to head grower. Managing plants by watering, spacing, pruning, planting, weeding, cleaning, etc. Loading and unloading deliveries. Assisting customers by carrying out purchases to vehicles. Good customer service skills; must be professional and friendly toward customers. Very physical job; stocking plant material, walking all day, lifting up to 50lbs repetitively. May be bending, reaching, kneeling, etc. Must be able to tolerate extreme environmental conditions. You will be hot, wet, and dirty during most of your time here. Fast-paced working environment. Responsible for monitoring and acting upon crop and grounds needs such as watering, cleaning, and pruning of plants.

Very physical job; stocking plant material, walking all day, lifting up to 50lbs repetitively. May be bending, reaching, kneeling, etc. Must be able to tolerate extreme environmental conditions. You will be hot, wet, and dirty during most of your time here. Fast-paced working environment.

Requirements:

Must be 18 years of age or older with a high school diploma or equivalent. Must be available to work up to 40 hours per week including weekends seasonally May work overtime during peak season between May and July. Must be able to work independently and in teams.

$15.00 - $17.00 per hour
