Responsibilities include:

Harvesting corn ears from field research plots Shelling corn and processing seed samples Organizing, labeling, and packaging seed stocks with accurate records Preparing laboratory reagents and solutions Assisting with molecular and flow cytometry experiments to determine plant genotype and ploidy levels Supporting ongoing maize genetics and breeding research projects This position provides hands-on experience in plant genetics, field research, laboratory techniques, and flow cytometry. Students interested in plant biology, genetics, agriculture, biotechnology, or related fields are encouraged to apply.
