Student worker position with the Department of Agriculture. Tasks will relate to assisting department faculty with agricultural teaching and research projects, class lab set up,maintenance of agricultural lab equipment, greenhouse operations, etc. Students may be requested to help facilitate elements important to department operations such as assisting withorganization and promotion of department events, recruitment efforts, social mediamanagement, alumni relations, etc.

Duties Include:

Assisting department faculty with tasks related to agricultural teaching and research projects Class lab set-up or clean-up, maintenance of agricultural lab equipment and inventory plants, greenhouse operations, etc. Help facilitate elements important to department operations such as assisting with organization and promotion of department events, recruitment efforts, social media management, alumni relations, etc. Tasks may be indoors or outside in greenhouse, nursery or field conditions.

Education:

High school diploma or equivalent

Experience:

Prior experience in a production agricultural operation or other agribusiness is preferred.

Working Hours and Days:

Approximately 10 hours/week between Sunday - Saturday during regular 8-5pm working hours.
