09/11/2026 The Assistant Golf Director/Agronomist performs difficult skilled technical work in the planning, supervising and participating in the preparation and maintenance of a municipal golf course. Minimum Qualifications Bachelor's degree in agronomy, horticulture, or related field or four years related work experience Five years of experience in the field Pesticide application license Valid NC driver's license or valid out-of-state driver's license with the ability to obtain a valid NC driver's license within sixty days of employment and good driving record Work Schedule Monday - Friday. 6:00am - 2:00pm. 40 hours per week. Paid bi-weekly. The Golf Course is a 7-day per week operation that results in weekend work and extended hours especially during peak season.
