The NDSU Wheat Plant Pathology Team is seeking motivated individuals to assist with research activities related to wheat leaf diseases in greenhouse and laboratory settings. Primary Responsibilities Assist with planting, watering, maintaining, and harvesting wheat plants in the greenhouse. Monitor and record plant diseases and disease symptoms. Culture and maintain plant pathogenic microorganisms in the laboratory. Prepare media, buffers, and reagents. Assist with molecular diagnosis and characterization of plant pathogens. Maintain a clean, organized, and safe greenhouse and laboratory environment. Work collaboratively with graduate students, research staff, and faculty. Qualifications Interest in or experience with plant pathology, microbiology, or a closely related field. Currently pursuing a degree in microbiology, plant pathology, plant science, biological sciences, or a related discipline. Ability to work independently as well as effectively in a team. Good communication and interpersonal skills Willingness to learn laboratory and greenhouse research techniques.

Position Duration Spring/Fall:

Part-time, approximately 10-20 hours per week during the academic year.

Summer:
