Job Description

Water Utility Operator - Payson, Tonto Basin & Show Low Areas Position Summary JW Water is seeking a dependable and motivated individual (preferably with some water operations experience), to assist with the maintenance, upkeep and repairs of water distribution systems. Water Operations or Plumbing experience needed. The ideal candidate is reliable, hardworking, safety-minded, and able to work both independently and as part of a team. All candidates must have a clean driving record. Key Responsibilities Assist with maintenance and repairs of water distribution systems Perform routine inspections and preventative maintenance Support and assist crews with repairs, and emergency response activities Maintain accurate records of maintenance and repair activities Follow company safety policies and procedures Assist in maintaining vehicles, equipment, and work areas Share on call, and or respond to after-hours emergencies as needed Qualifications Water operations experience, utility maintenance, or plumbing experience Basic knowledge of water distribution systems is a plus Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions Ability to lift heavy materials and perform physical labor Reliable attendance and strong work ethic required Must be dependable and able to work well with others Valid driver's license with a clean driving record required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Ability to follow directions and safety procedures Good communication and teamwork skills Willingness to learn Working Conditions Outdoor environment (Exposure to all weather conditions) A lot of driving (from: Tonto Basin to Show Low AZ) May require occasional overtime, on-call work, or emergency response Compensation Dependent on degree of water operations and or plumbing experience.
