WATER UTILITY MAINTAINER - WINDHAM WATER WORKS

Mansfield, CT Windham Water Works is seeking qualified applicants for the position of Water Utility Maintainer. This is a full-time position (40 hrs/wk; M-F, 7:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.). Under the direction of the Water Superintendent or his/her designee, the Water Utility Maintainer is responsible for performing a wide range of construction, repair, and maintenance activities for the Water System, including repairing, replacing, testing, inspecting, and troubleshooting water system facilities and equipment, and performing grounds maintenance. Maintains compliance with all local, state, and federal environmental laws and regulations. This position is classified as an "essential" employee position, which means the employee is expected to report to work during emergencies, including inclement weather (i.e., tropical storms, hurricanes, ice/snowstorms, etc.), natural or man-made disasters, pandemics, and other emergency situations. Must possess and maintain a valid Connecticut Class B Commercial Driver's License. Bilingual (English and Spanish), preferred.
