$89,006.77/year; 2080 hours/year

Until Filled Requires a Bachelor's degree, vocational technical degree or specialized training that is equivalent to satisfactory completion of four (4) years of college education with emphasis in Chemistry, Biology, Technical Engineering or a closely related field, supplemented by ten (10) years of experience in water operations, some of which have been in a supervisory capacity Must possess "B" Water Treatment license or obtain upon hire or promotion in the timeframe prescribed by South Carolina Department of Labor, Licensing, and Regulation (SCLLR) Valid South Carolina driver's license The Water Resources Manager oversees water programs and operations of the Utilities Department including Surface Water Production and Groundwater Production. The Water Resources Manager will supervise the implementation of standards, targets, policies and plans to optimize operational efficiency, maintain a high level of customer service, and ensure regulatory compliance for all local, state, and federal laws. Work includes planning and coordination of Water Production administration as well as the supervision of subordinate operations, maintenance, laboratory, and support staff. This position reports to the Director of Water Resources.
