We are a small farm in San Tan Valley seeking a reliable, hardworking Live-In Ranch Hand to join our team. If you are dependable, love being around animals, and enjoy working outdoors, this is the perfect opportunity for you! No prior ranch experience is required— we are 100% willing to train someone who can follow directions, communicate well, and show up ready to put in an honest day's work. We don't want to micromanage you. We are looking for an independent self-starter who can be trusted to get the job done right without someone constantly watching over their shoulder. Once you learn the routine, the space and time are yours to manage.

Position Overview & Hours Hours:

Average of 20-25 hours per week .

Schedule:

Daily morning and evening routines (feeding, watering, and mucking).

Location:

Live-in position (must reside on-site).

Key Responsibilities Feeding & Watering:

Ensure all ranch animals are properly fed and watered on a strict daily schedule.

Mucking & Cleaning:

Regularly muck stalls, clean pens, and maintain clean living areas for the animals.

General Maintenance:

Help with basic ranch chores and notify ownership of any animal health or safety issues.

Compensation & Benefits Free Housing:

Free living accommodations in a fully provided, on-site fifth-wheel trailer. All utility costs are completely covered.

Financial Pay:

A weekly stipend (to be discussed based on experience/availability).

Hands-on Training:

Complete training provided for all routines and animal care safety protocols. Requirements Must be physically capable of lifting heavy feed bags, pushing wheelbarrows, and working outdoors in various weather conditions. Ability to closely follow step-by-step instructions and maintain a reliable daily routine. Strong work ethic, self-motivated, and a positive attitude. Must respect the property and take good care of the provided living space.
