This full-time position offers an opportunity to work closely with dogs and farm animals, providing daily care and handling in an outdoor setting. Ideal for someone passionate about animals, interested in gaining hands-on experience in animal husbandry, and seeking a supportive work environment with housing options available. Honesty, integrity, and gentle handling are essential qualities for success in this role. Duties Provide daily care enrichment and attention to dogs and farm animals, ensuring their well-being and safety Engage in outdoor work activities such as feeding, cleaning, and maintaining animal living areas and habitats Handle animals with kindness and patience, respecting their agency and treating them with gentle, respectful handling at all times Assist with basic farm chores related to animal husbandry, including grooming, monitoring health, and supporting routine veterinary care when needed Maintain a clean and safe indoor and outdoor environment for the animals and team members Support the team in ensuring that all animals are treated ethically and with compassion Contribute positively to a team of friendly, fun people who share a love for animals Requirements Experience working outdoors in a farm or similar setting preferred Prior experience with animal husbandry is highly desirable Friendly, positive attitude with a strong sense of honesty and integrity Ability to handle animals gently and respectfully at all times Willingness to perform physically demanding outdoor work regularly Interest in developing an entry-level career working with dogs and farm animals Reliable, responsible, and able to work well as part of a team This position offers an enriching opportunity for individuals passionate about animal care who want to grow their skills in a supportive environment.
