Job Description

The Delmarva Discovery Museum is seeking a part-time (20 hours per week) animal husbandry technician. We are looking for an individual with a thorough knowledge of animal care. This position requires experience with live animal programs and daily presentations to museum guests as well as school field trips. You will work closely with our animal husbandry staff to care for our collection of native species housed here at the Museum. Must have prior experience working with animals and a willingness to talk to guests. We have river otters, snakes, turtles, frogs, and a variety of fish species. Prior experience working in an animal facility is a must. This is a weekend position.
