401(k) matching Health insurance Paid time off Hill City AquaZoo is looking for an aquarist. This is a full-time position that requires working Saturdays and Sundays. If you are passionate about fish, and their care, we are looking for you! The primary responsibility of an Aquarist is to care for the fish and invertebrates living in the many exhibits throughout the Aquarium. This includes feeding the animals and maintaining their habitat by cleaning it and keeping it as natural as possible, planning the daily diets for the animals, treating them for diseases and monitoring their water quality for any changes, and educating the guests about our residents. A degree in Biology or Chemistry is helpful for this position, but not required. Ideal candidates don't mind working in what are often hot, and wet, conditions and must be comfortable in and around water. Prior experience with keeping aquariums for a minimum of a year is required.
