Full-Time | 8:00 AM

We partner with schools, districts, state agencies, and other organizations providing education and education related support to implement innovative, research-based solutions that promote student success. SPN fosters inclusive, high-performing learning environments where students thrive academically, socially, and emotionally. Position Overview SPN is seeking a Texas, bilingual (Spanish-speaking) Grades 4-8 Math/Science Teacher responsible for delivering high-quality instruction in mathematics and science, fostering student engagement, and promoting academic achievement. The teacher will create a positive, structured classroom environment and use data-driven practices to support diverse learners. Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver engaging, standards-aligned instruction in mathematics and science for grades 4-8
  • Develop and implement lesson plans aligned with Texas Essential Knowledge and Skills (TEKS)
  • Differentiate instruction to meet the needs of diverse learners, including English Language Learners (ELLs)
  • Use data-driven practices and assessments to monitor student progress and adjust instruction
  • Maintain accurate records of student performance, attendance, and compliance requirements
  • Establish and maintain a structured, positive classroom environment focused on student achievement
  • Integrate technology and hands-on learning to support student engagement
  • Collaborate with instructional staff, administrators, and support personnel
  • Communicate effectively with students, families, and stakeholders as appropriate
  • Participate in required professional development and staff meetings
  • Support program expectations, policies, and student supervision as needed Minimum Qualifications Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university Valid Texas teaching certification in:
  • Core Subjects (Grades 4-8), or
  • Mathematics (Grades 4-8), and Science (Grades 4-8)
  • Bilingual in Spanish (required)
  • ESL Certified or in process of obtaining certification
  • Ability to pass federal background check requirements Preferred Qualifications
  • Master's degree in Math, Science, or related field
  • Experience working with English language learners
  • Familiarity with technology-driven or blended learning environments Skills & Abilities
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to simplify complex scientific/math concepts for diverse learners
  • Knowledge of laboratory safety procedures and classroom management
  • Experience with student information systems (SIS)
  • Ability to lift and carry up to 25 pounds and manage classroom/lab materials
  • Ability to stand, bend, and move throughout instructional periods Compensation & Benefits
  • Salary $79,000
Includes:
401(k) with employer match $9000 yearly Lifestyle & Wellness Stipend (to be used at your discretion for health insurance premiums and travel costs) We offer a generous paid time off package that includes 8 company holidays, two weeks of paid winter break, one week of paid spring break, two weeks of paid summer break, and 10 days of flexible vacation/sick leave
