Job Overview We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Truck Driver to join our logistics team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for transporting goods safely and efficiently across various routes. This role requires a strong commitment to safety, excellent driving skills, and the ability to handle different types of vehicles, including refrigerated trailers and dump trucks. Responsibilities Operate and drive various types of trucks, including tractor-trailers, dump trucks, and tankers. Load and unload freight safely and efficiently, ensuring proper handling of goods. Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure safety and compliance with regulations. Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including mileage, fuel consumption, and delivery times. Follow all traffic laws and regulations while on the road. Communicate effectively with dispatchers and other team members regarding delivery schedules and any issues that arise during transport. Utilize manual transmission vehicles as required for specific routes or loads. Skills Proven experience in commercial driving with a valid CDL (Commercial Driver's License). Proficiency in operating manual transmission vehicles is essential. Familiarity with refrigerated trailers and the ability to manage temperature-sensitive freight. Experience as a delivery driver with knowledge of safe loading/unloading practices. Ability to operate a forklift for loading/unloading tasks when necessary. Strong understanding of freight handling procedures and safety regulations in transportation. Excellent time management skills with the ability to meet tight deadlines while ensuring safety standards are upheld. Good Driving Record.
