Job Description

Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Medical Scribe to join our healthcare team. In this role, you will work closely with physicians and other healthcare professionals to document patient encounters in real-time during in-office appointments. Your contributions will enhance the efficiency of clinical operations and ensure accurate medical records. You will be reporting to our Perry office and travel to 5 of our clinic locations on a rotating basis.
The five clinic locations are:
Warner Robins, Milledgeville, Macon, Cordele and Dublin. You will also help with chart merging. Responsibilities Accurately document patient histories, physical exams, and treatment plans during medical visits. Record vital signs and other relevant patient information as directed by healthcare providers. Assist in maintaining organized and up-to-date electronic health records (EHR). Collaborate with physicians to ensure all necessary information is captured during patient encounters. Understand and apply medical terminology. Support administrative tasks related to patient care, including scheduling follow-up appointments and managing documentation systems. Maintain confidentiality of patient information in accordance with HIPAA regulations. Skills Strong knowledge of physiology and medical terminology is essential for effective documentation. Familiarity with vital signs monitoring and interpretation. Proficiency in using electronic health record systems, specifically eCW, for accurate data entry. Excellent communication skills to facilitate collaboration with healthcare professionals. Attention to detail and ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment. Ability to adapt quickly to changing situations while maintaining high-quality documentation standards.
