Job Description

Step into a leadership role with Seaside Foods as our Manager! In this position, you'll guide day-to-day operations in a fun, fast-paced food service environment. We're looking for someone who enjoys working with people, takes pride in great customer service, and can keep things running smoothly behind the scenes. You'll support and motivate staff, help manage food preparation, keep track of inventory, and ensure guests have a welcoming, enjoyable experience every time they visit. DEDICATED RESPONSIBILITIES
Oversee and work within Seaside Foods & The Cruiser culinary production Directs food preparation and collaborates with chef and team to streamline processes Work with a team on menu development, planning, inventory, management of supplies Ensures high quality products and oversees quality control Provide support to junior kitchen employees with various training including line cooking, food prep and plating Manage product ordering to keep a 33% or less food cost Meet and engage with guests and receive feedback Create schedules for kitchen employees and evaluate their performance on a quarterly basis Master all areas of the company Work with General Manager on Hiring & Training Staff Split time between food preparation, working line, customer service Build menus and concepts for Seaside @ Sebastian's Assist with uniforms & kitchen team attire Minimize Overtime
JOB REQUIREMENT/QUALIFICATIONS
Degree in Culinary Arts preferred but not mandatory. Must have a minimum of 2 years hospitality and food service experience Leadership/supervisory experience required Knowledge of purchasing, ordering, receiving, food cost analysis required
CERTIFICATES/LICENSES
ServSafe Manager Certificate Valid California Driver's License HOURS:
Wednesday
  • Sunday 9am-5pm
  • Due to the nature of our business, hours may vary. Peak season hours 8am
  • 6pm and possible Sunday
COMPENSATION
Hourly Wage + Gratuities $26 per hour $39 per hour overtime
PTO:
7 days paid time off in the first year. Additional days for consecutive years Requiring pre-approval for days off PTO paid at end of year
SIMPLE RETIREMENT PLAN
Field to Table Events LCC will match up to 3% of your yearly earnings toward a Simple Retirement fund.
WELLNESS
$50 per month for gym or fitness center. Use it or lose it
  • Must be used minimum 4 times per month
MEALS:
Will be provided lunch daily with supplies on hand in prep kitchen
HEALTH CARE
50% paid healthcare on Field to Table Events
LLC ATTIRE/UNIFORM
Provided Seaside Food Shirts, Sweatshirts, Hats, Apparel Pay:
From $26.00 per hour
