About Us The Marilyn Inn is a newly reimagined boutique bed & breakfast located just steps from the Jersey Shore, featuring 21 thoughtfully designed rooms, including select ocean-view accommodations. Blending coastal charm with modern refinement, the experience is both elevated and effortlessly relaxed. As a newly launched property, we are building a hands-on, detail-oriented team dedicated to creating a stay that feels seamless, welcoming, and memorable at every touchpoint. Position Overview We are seeking a confident, hospitality-driven Seasonal Innkeeper to lead day-to-day guest experience and oversee the flow of the property during our peak season. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a hands-on environment, enjoys interacting with guests, and can confidently manage operations in a small, fast-paced setting. Key Responsibilities Guest Experience & Front-of-House Oversee guest check-ins and ensure a smooth arrival experience Serve as the primary point of contact for guest needs and requests Provide local recommendations and personalized service Handle guest concerns professionally and efficiently Daily Operations Coordinate with housekeeping to ensure timely room turnovers Oversee presentation of common areas and overall property readiness Support and guide the Innkeeper Assistant during daily operations Ensure all spaces meet cleanliness and presentation standards Team & Communication Work closely with management to maintain service standards Communicate effectively with housekeeping and support staff Help create a positive, team-oriented work environment Operational Oversight Monitor daily flow of arrivals, departures, and guest needs Assist with light administrative or operational tasks as needed Ensure smooth transitions between shifts and departments Qualifications 2+ years of hospitality or hotel experience preferred Strong guest service and communication skills Comfortable managing multiple priorities at once Professional, composed, and solution-oriented Leadership or supervisory experience is a plus What We're Looking For A natural host who enjoys engaging with people Someone who takes ownership and leads with confidence Highly organized and detail-oriented Calm under pressure and able to problem-solve quickly What We Offer Competitive seasonal pay A private room with a king bed, all utilities included A beautiful coastal work environment A collaborative and supportive team Opportunity to play a key role in a growing boutique property
