Security Guard - Weekend

Duties Monitor security cameras, CCTV systems, and surveillance equipment to oversee activity across the premises. Control access by verifying identification, issuing visitor passes, and managing entry/exit points for employees, visitors, contractors, and vendors. Conduct regular patrols of the property to identify potential security issues or hazards. Respond promptly to alarms, emergencies, or incidents by coordinating with law enforcement or emergency services as needed. Enforce security protocols and policies to prevent theft, vandalism, or unauthorized access. Maintain detailed logs of daily activities, incidents, and security checks for reporting purposes. Assist with conflict management by de-escalating tense situations professionally and calmly. Skills Proven experience in security or law enforcement roles, with a strong understanding of surveillance techniques. Certification in first aid and CPR to provide immediate assistance during medical emergencies. Knowledge of conflict management strategies to handle challenging situations effectively. Familiarity with CCTV systems, loss prevention practices, and security technology tools. Ability to remain alert during long shifts while maintaining high attention to detail. Background in military or security services is advantageous but not mandatory. Excellent communication skills for clear reporting and effective interaction with team members and visitors.
