Security Officer

Description :

Security Officer - Pinewoods CSU - Griffin Ga. Able to work 12-hour rotation shifts. We have a Day shift and a Night Shift available. Guards, patrols, or monitors premises, facilities, and other areas to prevent theft, violence and infractions of rules. Secures and protects facility in case of fires, natural disasters, or other hazardous events. Candidate must have a high school diploma and two years' experience working in the security field. Experience working with the Mental Health and Substance Abuse population environment is required. Ability to handle crisis situations according to established guidelines, position requires flexibility, work consists of enforcing laws, ordinances, and policies for safety of individual/staff at site location. Patrol work area on foot and other duties as directed and performed. Must be aware of Therapeutic Boundaries, and demonstrate accountability, respectability, and reliability.

Preferred Qualifications:
