Join Allied Universal as an Unarmed Patrol Officer supporting a public education location, where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, conduct routine patrols, remain visible to help to deter security-related incidents, and assist students, staff, and visitors with professionalism. PM What You'll Do:

Provide customer service to students, staff, visitors, and/or vendors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a public education location. Respond to incidents, disturbances, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and communicate observations to school administration and/or first responders as needed. Conduct regular and random patrols throughout campus buildings, parking areas, athletic spaces, and perimeter locations to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or identify security-related concerns. Monitor entrances, exits, and visitor activity while following access control procedures, checking credentials when required, and reporting unusual behavior and/or policy violations. Support daily school operations during arrival, dismissal, after-hours events, and/or public meetings by maintaining a professional presence and documenting incidents, patrols, and security-related activities.

Minimum Requirements:

At least 6 months of security-related experience is required. Access control and badge experience is preferred. A state, county, or city issued security license is preferred. Customer service experience is preferred. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law. Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment. A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
