PM What You'll Do:

Provide customer service to staff, visitors, and/or the public by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a government location. Respond to incidents, disturbances, and/or critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, including situations that may require an armed presence in accordance with post orders. Conduct regular and random patrols throughout assigned buildings, grounds, access points, and perimeter areas to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or policy violations. Monitor entry and exit activity, verify credentials and/or permissions, and document observations, incidents, and unusual conditions in required logs and reports. Support security-related operations by maintaining awareness of surroundings, communicating with site contacts and/or local responders, and following all applicable armed post procedures and reporting protocols.

Minimum Requirements:

Be at least 21 years of age. A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements. An armed guard card or license is preferred. A valid firearms permit is preferred. Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law. Participate in industry-specific security training programs. Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment. A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
