As an Armed Patrol Officer with Allied Universal at a government location, you will drive assigned routes, monitor and patrol designated areas, and maintain a visible presence that helps to deter security-related incidents. This role blends mobile patrol, armed post responsibilities, and customer service, offering the chance to support daily operations through clear communication, teamwork, reliability, and integrity.

PM What You'll Do:

Provide customer service to visitors, staff, and/or contractors by carrying out site-specific procedures, access control activities, and emergency response duties at a government location. Respond to incidents, alarms, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, using appropriate de-escalation techniques and reporting procedures. Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout assigned buildings, grounds, parking areas, and perimeter zones to help identify unusual activity and support security-related operations. Complete required reports and documentation related to incidents, observations, patrol activity, and/or policy violations, and communicate relevant updates to site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.

Minimum Requirements:

A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements. At least 1 year of armed security-related, law enforcement, and/or military experience is required. An armed guard card or license is preferred. Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law. Participate in industry-specific security training programs. Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment. A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
