PM What You'll Do:

Provide customer service to all visitors, drivers, and employees by following site-specific access control procedures, verifying credentials, and monitoring entry and exit activity at the location. Monitor gates, doors, badges, visitor logs, and delivery traffic to help support authorized access for personnel, contractors, and/or shipments within a logistics and distribution environment. Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and communicate with site contacts and/or emergency services when appropriate. Conduct regular and random patrols around the business, trailer yards, loading areas, and perimeter, with working environments and conditions that may vary by location. Complete required reports on access activity, unusual events, and other security-related concerns, and follow Allied Universal and site-specific policies and procedures.

Minimum Requirements:

At least 1 year of security-related experience is required. Access control and badge experience is preferred. Customer service experience is preferred. Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred. At this site there are limited on-site facilities such as portable toilets and rustic guard shacks. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law. Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment. A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
