As a Security Officer, you will be responsible for monitoring premises, conducting surveillance, and ensuring compliance with safety protocols. Duties Monitor and patrol assigned areas to prevent and detect signs of intrusion or suspicious activity. Respond promptly to alarms or incidents, assessing situations and taking appropriate action. Utilize CCTV systems to oversee surveillance footage and maintain records of incidents. Enforce rules and regulations to ensure the safety of individuals on the premises. Conduct regular inspections of buildings and grounds to identify potential security risks. Provide assistance during emergencies, including administering CPR and first aid as needed. Collaborate with law enforcement when necessary to report incidents or suspicious activities. Document all security-related incidents accurately and thoroughly in reports. Requirements Proven experience in security or law enforcement is preferred. Strong conflict management skills with the ability to de-escalate tense situations. Familiarity with loss prevention techniques and practices. Proficient in operating surveillance equipment such as CCTV systems. Certification in CPR and First Aid is highly desirable. Ability to work independently while remaining vigilant at all times. Must possess a valid security officer license or certification as required by local regulations. Military experience is a plus but not mandatory. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
