As a Security Officer Patrol in Imlay City, MI , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Food/Beverage, and more. Join Allied Universal as an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a dynamic food and beverage location, where you will monitor assigned areas, conduct routine patrols, and remain visible to help deter security-related incidents. PM What You'll Do:
Provide customer service by carrying out site-specific procedures, location policies, and/or appropriate emergency response activities within a food and beverage production and distribution location. Respond to incidents, unusual activity, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and communicating with site contacts as needed. Conduct regular and random patrols throughout buildings, production-adjacent areas, parking areas, loading and shipping zones, and perimeter points to help to deter unauthorized activity and report security-related concerns. Monitor access points, verify visitor and contractor entry requirements, and support screening and logging processes in accordance with site protocols and Allied Universal standards. Observe workplace conditions and report maintenance, access control, and/or security-related issues that could impact daily operations or the location's established procedures.
Minimum Requirements:
CPR certification is preferred. Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred. Access control and/or badge experience is preferred. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law. Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment. A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
