As a Security Officer Patrol Rover in Westlake, LA , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Chemical/Petrochemical, and more. Join Allied Universal as an unarmed patrol officer in a chemical and petrochemical location, where you will monitor assigned areas, conduct routine patrols, and remain visible to help deter security-related incidents. PM What You'll Do:
Provide customer service to employees, contractors, and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities within an industrial chemical location. Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and reporting security-related concerns to site leadership. Conduct regular and random patrols throughout operational areas, buildings, gates, and perimeter zones to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify unusual conditions. Monitor access points and verify credentials for personnel, visitors, and deliveries in accordance with site protocols and security-related requirements. Support plant operations by communicating clearly with coworkers, control room personnel, and/or emergency contacts while following post orders and escalation procedures.
Minimum Requirements:
Possess a TSA issued TWIC. Provide proof of a high school diploma or GED as required by the client. Be at least 21 years of age. A guard card or license is preferred. Be comfortable using a computer or tablet preferred. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law. Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment. A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
