Job Description As a Security Officer in Saint Paul Park, MN , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Chemical/Petrochemical, and more. Join Allied Universal as an unarmed patrol officer at a dynamic petrochemical location, where you will monitor assigned areas, conduct routine patrols, and remain visible to help reduce security-related incidents. In this role, you will support site operations through strong communication, attentive observation, and customer service. AM What You'll Do:

Provide customer service to all personnel, visitors, and contractors by carrying out site-specific procedures, access-related screening, and emergency response activities appropriate for a chemical and petrochemical location. Respond to incidents, alarms, unusual conditions, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and communicating with site contacts and/or first responders as needed. Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the facility, operational areas, and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity, identify security-related concerns, and report conditions that may require follow-up. Monitor entry and exit points, verify credentials and/or visitor information, and support vehicle and pedestrian traffic control in accordance with site policies and post orders. Prepare clear reports on daily activities, incidents, and patrol findings, and assist with enforcing site rules, restricted area requirements, and other security-related procedures.

Minimum Requirements:

A minimum of 6 months of security-related experience is required. Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred. Alarm panel experience is preferred. Access control and/or badge experience is preferred. This is primarily a driving post. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law. Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment. A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
