• Part Time Kress is looking for a part time Security Personnel to join our team in the development of specialized industrial equipment for steel, construction, and mining industries.

As a security person, you will conduct interior and/or exterior foot patrol, control access and egress, monitor alarm systems, deter criminal activity and misconduct, and perform other duties as specified in post orders.

• This position is intended to supplement our full time security staff. (Covering vacations, Time Off coverage)
• Responsibilities
• Perform security patrols of designated areas on foot or in vehicle Watch for irregular or unusual conditions that may create security concerns or safety hazards Sound alarm or calls police or fire department in case of fire Warn violators of rule infractions, such as loitering, smoking or carrying forbidden articles Permit authorized persons to enter property and monitor entrances and exits Observe departing personnel to protect against theft of company property and ensure that authorized removal of property is conducted within appropriate client requirement Investigate and prepare reports on accidents, incidents, and suspicious activities; maintain written logs as required by the post Provide assistance to customers, employees and visitors in a courteous and professional manner Qualifications• 2 years' Security experience or 1 year in Law Enforcement, Military or Corrections High School diploma or equivalent Effective oral and written communication skills Active listening skills Ability to assess and evaluate situations quickly and effectively Ability to identify critical issues immediately and accurately Strong attention to detail
