Security/Front Desk Receptionist

East Neck Nursing & Rehabilitation Center is looking for a Full-time and part time Security Officer/Front Desk Receptionist to join our Security team! We are looking for candidates that can work weekends 3pm-11pm and 11pm-7am

Position Summary:

Under the direct supervision of the Administrator and Head Receptionist, security officer will patrol designated areas of the facility, off-site premises and parking lots so as to provide a safe and secure environment for residents, visitors, and employees. Required to work rotating shifts and performs all duties assigned consistent with Facility commitment to providing quality health care services in a compassionate and a humane manner. Security experience not required. Must be organized with alertness in making decisions in an emergency. Tact and diplomacy required for contact with people. Must be able to effectively interact with all levels of staff and the public. Has the capacity to handle multifunction assignments. Must be able to deal with high pressure situations in a calm and professional manner. Write factual reports documenting security/safety incidents. Good verbal skills.

MUST BE ABLE TO WORK WEEKENDS AND HOLIDAYS MUST BE FULLY VACCINATED AGAINST COVID 19 EDUCATION

High School Diploma or Equivalency.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS

Must be able to move intermittently throughout the workday. Must be able to speak and write the English language in an understandable manner. Must possess sight/hearing senses or use prosthetics that will enable these senses to function adequately so that the requirements of this position can be fully met. Must function independently, have personal integrity, have flexibility, and the ability to work effectively with other personnel. Must meet the general health requirements set forth by the policies if this facility to work effectively with other personnel. Must be able to push, pull, and move things. Must be necessary to assist in the evacuation of residents during emergency situations.
