Senior Accountant / Assistant Controller

Job Summary We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Senior Accountant / Assistant Controller to join our finance team. This position will manage the accounting and financial reporting for one operating company while collaborating with other division controllers and the Group Controller for guidance, support, and best practices. Duties Lead the preparation and review of financial statements in accordance with GAAP (Generally Accepted Accounting Principles) ensuring compliance with all regulatory requirements. Manage complex account reconciliations including balance sheet reconciliation, general ledger accounting, and account analysis to maintain accurate financial records. Oversee accounts payable and accounts receivable processes, ensuring timely processing and adherence to company policies. Prepare detailed financial reports, management summaries, and regulatory filings to support strategic decision-making. Collaborate with external auditors during audits; ensure clean audit reports by providing necessary documentation and explanations. Experience Proven experience as a Senior Accountant or Assistant Controller within diverse environments. Strong knowledge of GAAP. Demonstrated expertise in general ledger management, account reconciliation, and financial statement preparation. Experience conducting financial analysis and account analysis. Strong analytical skills combined with exceptional attention to detail; capable of managing multiple priorities efficiently while maintaining accuracy under tight deadlines. Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Accounting required. CPA or CPA candidate strongly preferred . 3-6 years of accounting experience . Experience with general ledger accounting and month-end close . Strong Excel and analytical skills .

Pay:

$75,000.00 - $90,000.00 per year
