Senior Accountant

Senior Accountant Job Summary The Senior Accountant is responsible for reconciling accounts receivable, applying cash receipts, processing credit memos, and identifying rate setup and discrepancies in the receivables module. This role supports key accounting activities, including the month-end close process, and sets up contracts in the ERP system to automate revenue recognition, record expenses, and ensure accurate revenue share to partners. Responsibilities Review and interpret revenue, revenue share, and invoicing aspects of retailer and partner contracts, ensuring related system setups are completed in the ERP system. Coordinate with internal teams on product launches to assess feasibility of AR and revenue share (CHRM) module setups and confirm needed data is available and tested prior to launch. Serve as a liaison for external parties (vendors, auditors) and internal customers, building relationships with senior management and FP&A. Test and validate automated ERP data feeds for new implementations and modifications to existing feeds. Oversee AR aging on a weekly basis and escalate aged balances to business owners and external partners. Prepare journal entries in the ERP system, including month-end AR reserve analysis. Monitor, complete, and ensure adherence to internal control policies and procedures. Collaborate with internal and external audit teams. Upload daily sales feeds into the AR module as needed. Complete cash applications in the AR module. Resolve AR invoice versus payment variances by troubleshooting errors, reviewing contracts, and navigating multiple data sources. Process credit memos and manual invoices. Perform other related duties as needed. Requirements Bachelor s degree in accounting, finance, economics, business, or a related field preferred. 5+ years of accounting or reconciliation experience preferred. Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to interact effectively across all levels and departments. Experience using reconciliation software to reconcile high volumes of AR transactions. Ability to manage multiple tasks and projects in a fast-paced, high-growth environment. Strong attention to detail with solid problem-solving and analytical skills. Fundamental understanding of US GAAP. Ability to exercise judgment and work on complex problems with minimal instruction. Advanced Excel skills and comfort working with large data sets. Knowledge and experience with a large-scale ERP system, preferably Oracle EBS.
