  • Full-time Canton, Ohio | Full-Time | In Office Worthington Products is seeking a highly organized and dependable accounting professional to join our team as Senior Accounting and Administrative Coordinator.
This is a highly trusted position that reports directly to the company owner and offers significant autonomy and responsibility. Accuracy, accountability, and confidentiality are essential. The ideal candidate has hands-on experience managing bookkeeping and office administration in a small business environment and is comfortable working independently with minimal supervision. Our products help clients improve public safety, reduce risk, and enhance operational performance. We offer significant autonomy and responsibility in a role where accuracy, accountability, and trust are essential. Key Responsibilities Accounting and Finance
  • Process accounts payable and ensure vendors are paid on time
  • Monitor accounts receivable and follow up consistently on past-due invoices
  • Reconcile bank accounts and credit card accounts
  • Prepare journal entries and maintain the chart of accounts
  • Process customer deposits, advance payments, and credit memos
  • Coordinate payroll processing through Paychex
  • Prepare commission reports and management reports
  • Generate profit and loss reports and other financial summaries Administrative Support
  • Maintain organized digital records and filing systems
  • Scan and archive accounting and administrative documents
  • Assist with general office administration as needed Qualifications Required Experience
  • Hands-on experience managing bookkeeping and office administration in a small business environment
  • Strong proficiency with QuickBooks Desktop Enterprise
  • Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Office
  • Experience exporting data from QuickBooks to Excel for reporting and analysis
  • Experience working with shared network folders and cloud-based file storage Preferred Experience
  • Experience coordinating payroll through Paychex or a similar provider
  • Experience preparing commission reports
  • Experience using AI tools such as ChatGPT to improve reporting, written communication, and workflow efficiency Education Formal accounting education is helpful but not required.
