Job Description

Skills Required Bachelors or Masters or MBA degree in Computer Science, Management Information Systems, or Supply Chain 8+ years of experience with various technologies such as:
Development:
JavaScript/Node.js/Vue.js, Groovy/Grails, Java/Springboot, and Software AG web
Methods Database Technologies:
Mongo DB, Oracle, Postgre
SQL, PL/SQL
Testing:
Vitest, Jest, Ava, Junit, Playwright Containers:
OpenShift, Kubernetes, Docker, Tanzu/Cloud Foundry CI/CD:
Github, Codefresh, Jenkins Experience with AI development tools and coding assistants (e.g., GitHub Copilot, Windsurf, Claude) Understanding of AI principles including LLMs, RAG, agents, and prompt engineering Experience integrating AI capabilities into application workflows; having shipped an AI-driven feature or application to production is a strong plus Familiarity with AI SDKs and frameworks (e.g., OpenAI SDK, LangChain) is a plus Familiarity or working experience with web development in utilizing an Agile methodology Test-First mindset across all levels of application development including unit, functional, end-to-end and regression testing. Critical thinker with the ability to break down complex technical requirements. Strong communication skills - Communicate complex ideas clearly and concisely. Diagraming/Presentation tools such as Lucid or Power Point. Result driven and self-motivated with the ability to work independently with minimal supervision Applicants must be authorized to work in the United States. We are unable to provide sponsorship for this position. Certain states and localities require employers to post a reasonable estimate of the salary range. A reasonable estimate of the current base pay range for this position is $106,400 to $133,000 annually. Actual salary will be based on a variety of factors, including shift, location, experience, skill set, performance, licensure and certification, and business needs. The range for this position in other geographic locations may differ. Certain positions may also be eligible for variable incentive compensation, such as bonuses or commissions, that are not included in the base pay. The well-being of WWT employees is essential. The ideal candidate for this position is detail-oriented, highly innovative and has passion for learning both business and technical processes. Key Responsibilities Design, develop, and implement custom software and database application capabilities for a variety of legacy and modernized systems with limited oversight Integrate AI capabilities into existing and new applications, leveraging LLMs, agents, and automation to enhance functionality and user experience Contribute to a culture of AI literacy within the engineering team, sharing strategies for safe, ethical, and effective use of AI in software development and encouraging experimentation with new AI-enhanced workflows Stay current on emerging AI technologies, frameworks, and patterns; make recommendations for adoption where they add measurable value Proactively participate in organizational web platform efforts such as quality assurance, upgrade survivability, and resiliency Do your part in release and sprint planning, story creation, sprint testing, regression testing, user acceptance testing, demonstrations, retrospectives and solution releases Ensuring product quality and timeliness of work, providing advice and guidance, resolving problems to meet engineering guidelines Provide follow on support for post-production release features including on-call rotation support (approximately 1 week per quarter) Provide technical mentoring for team members, including guidance on AI-assisted development practices, architectural best practices, and technical roadmaps Act as a member of a product team supporting teammates and collaborating with a proactive attitude to ensure product and team success Perform other tasks as identified by your manager to enable team success
