Schedule/Hours:
Rotating schedule with required call: one weekend and one night per week
Desired Experience & Qualifications:
Current and unrestricted RN license Previous PACU experience preferred; strong acute care or surgical recovery background considered ACLS and BLS certifications required Excellent communication and critical thinking abilities Adaptable to fast-paced, dynamic settings and diverse patient populations
Key Responsibilities:
Monitor post-anesthesia patients and deliver immediate care as needed Collaborate with surgical teams, anesthesiologists, and other healthcare professionals Assess patient status and respond quickly to complications Educate patients and families about post-operation care plans Accurately document care in electronic health records
